Director of Operations

POSITION OVERVIEW

Troubadour Technology is seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Operations to lead internal processes, resource planning, and cross-functional execution across our rapidly growing organization. This role is ideal for a systems-minded leader who thrives on building operational excellence without losing sight of people, culture, or the client experience.

You’ll work closely with leadership to optimize delivery, scale our processes, and ensure that every team has what they need to succeed—without adding unnecessary friction.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Oversee daily operations across project delivery, engineering coordination, client onboarding, support services and internal systems
• Build and refine operational workflows that support scalability and repeatability
• Collaborate with leadership to forecast resource needs and support strategic planning
• Manage vendor relationships, tools, and contracts to ensure efficient operations
• Track and report on KPIs related to delivery timelines, client satisfaction, and internal performance
• Partner with HR and finance to support hiring, onboarding, budgeting, and growth planning
• Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements across teams and tools
• Manage a budget for the Operations Team that directly feeds into the company P&L
  

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

• 10+ years of experience in operations or program management, ideally within IT services, consulting, or a similar project-driven environment
• Strong organizational and systems-thinking skills with a focus on process improvement
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams with clarity, empathy, and accountability
• Familiarity with tools such as Asana, HubSpot, QuickBooks, or similar platforms
• Experience with vendor negotiations, contract management, and operational budgeting
• Clear communication style and comfort presenting to leadership and stakeholders
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or similar advanced degree is a plus
